Operatec Academy to Oil & Gas (OMITC)

OPERATEC ACADEMY’S OMITC  – Operatec Maritime and Industrial Training Center, was founded in Cabinda in 2014 to provide HSE and technical training for the Oil and Gas segment with authorization from the National Institute of Employment and Professional Training (INEFOP) according to decree 16/98 of July 3 and decree No. 38/09 of August 14, under Law No. 10/04, Law of 12 November of the Petroleum Activities Act (MINPET), article 23 of the principles of promotion of safety, health and hygiene in working with companies operating in Angolan territory.

OPERATEC ACADEMY offers offshore industrial and maritime survival training and operates as a training facility recognized by OPITO, SCTW and ROSPA (UK) for oil and gas service companies and independent personnel who support Chevron’s Malongo Terminal and any people working offshore. The content of our training courses is designed to provide competence in emergency response skills for the employee to deal with dangerous situations on board offshore units and hazardous work environments.
